By Invitation Only Events
By Invitation Only www.byinvitationonlyevents.co.uk is looking for 2 or 3 graduate designers to show at the fashion week event they are hosting at Embassy in Mayfair on 16th September 2008.
The event on the 16th has confirmed press and TV, and Celebs!
By Invitation Only Events are a private networking company run by London socialite and Viewlondon’s “Guy About Town” John Gough and fashionista and high-society femme fatale Annie Brook. They run private networking events for their City, media and fashion members throughout the year at exclusive venues such as Soho House, the Kingly Club, Adam Street and the Sanderson.
Just in time for London Fashion Week, they’ve teamed up with Embassy London to bring you a chance to catch up-and-coming designers at the same time as an invited audience of celebrities and the Capital’s press, including the Daily Mail, the BBC, Mixmag and 24/7 Television. Come down for a chance to be on TV or in the papers the morning after because this is the event they’ll all be talking about. Designers will include urban T-shirt labels Disciplined and Let The Kids Dance, who will kick off proceedings in style with a catwalk show, and Marie Claire’s recommended buy of the season, Coco Rose shoes, who will be showcasing their foldable ladies’ flats, which fit in your handbag to slip on when you’ve dragged yourself to one too many fashion shows and just can’t go another step in your Louboutin’s!
We’ll be joined on the night by celebrities keen to get their eyes on these hot new designers. We’re keeping the names under wraps, but expect a certain rock royalty wild child, a politico’s wayward daughter, the glamour model with the biggest assets of all, the kiss-and-tell sporting bad boy, and the biggest stars of on-screen favourites such as Big Brother and Shipwrecked! Paparazzi at the ready, this is the hottest ticket in town during Fashion Week.
Most importantly, this event supports the British fashion industry by offering young designers a chance to showcase their exciting collections in front of the press during London Fashion Week, with a party crowd in attendance from the City, media and fashion worlds.
