ARTISTS WANTED FOR EXHIBITION
World recession and plummeting prices poses the question, what is valuable? Using the current crisis as a point of reflection, ‘Values’ aims to explore this question through art by bringing together a group of artists to express values they hold dear to themselves. As well as financial stability, friendships, political ideals, memories, cultural, moral and religious identity are all values that we may hold dear. The expression of values through art will provide the viewer with a chance to contemplate what is valuable to them.
The exhibition will be held from 22nd September to the 15th October 2009. We are currently seeking funding. In the event that grant applications are unsuccessful, a fee of £700 will be charged to the artists; with a group of 10 artists the fee would be £70 per artist.

The Gallery at Willesden Green is well known and situated just off Willesden High Street. Exhibitions typically receive over 1,000 visitors, providing worthwhile opportunities for artists to gain recognition and sell work in London.
