‘Blank Canvas’ at The Royal George seek Artists
ENTRY DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO TUESDAY 4th MAY
This is your chance to turn our blank canvass in to something unique, by putting your stamp on the newest venue in London, winning some amazing prizes and gaining great exposure along the way.
What’s Happening:
We are undergoing a refurbishment and want to use it to display the talents of London Art Students. We need 12 artists to make their mark on our basement bar. The room will be painted white and each of the 12 finalists will be given a part of the wall to display their talents from.
The brief is Music. The basement is being turned into a venue, so you should think along these lines for your work.

Your designs need to be submitted to us by the 4th May. We will then select the 12 best designs. Those selected then have from Saturday 8th May to Friday 14th May to come and create your piece.
On the 14th May we will issue the winners brief to create another piece of work in our main bar. On the 15th we will contact the winner who then has until the 22nd May to come and create their work.
On the 22nd there will be a launch night/unveiling of the winners work which will go on until 1am with a special guest live band and DJ.
Our friends at Red Bull will be giving each of the 12 finalists a bottle of vodka and case of Red Bull, for their hard work .
Along with as much Red Bull as you want while you are doing the artwork.
The prize for the best piece is that they will have there work unveiled in a prominent position in the pub
And will also win a new Sony VAIO laptop;
The runner up will receive £50 worth of vouchers.
The launch night will also be a chance to network as there will be marketing and design personnel from Red Bull and several other major companies along with journalists.
