Belfast Photo Festival: Open Submissions

As part of the festival programme, we are now accepting entries for the Belfast Photo Festival's 2011 Open Submission Exhibition. This exhibition is one of the festivals major highlights and being keen to support all disciplines of photographic practice, we encourage entries from professionals, students and amateurs.

This year’s submissions are open themed, with an advised entry guide of 2-6 images per single series/body of photographs.
Selection will be conducted by our distinguished jury of professionals, who’s details can be viewed on the festival website.

Those photographers selected will benefit from:

• Many selected photographers will be awarded publication of their body of photographs, courtesy of the photo book company Blurb

• Exhibition exposure in the major cities of Belfast and Britain’s first capital of culture Derry City

• Publication and promotion internationally through the festival and its partners

• Opportunity to be seen by visual arts professionals
