BASH and Barbican are recruiting fashion designers and actors for a highly public performance in London, taking place on 26th of June 2009, which will promote the Barbican's upcoming exhibition Radical Nature.

Fashion designers will be required to design tree costumes for approximately 40-50 actors. The costumes need to be flexible and lightweight to allow mobility as well as extremely eye-catching. Sustainability is a key aspect of the designs and material must be recycled, re-used, reclaimed or ethically sourced. The deadline for finalized costumes is the 24th of June.

The actors will be dressing up in the tree costumes whilst parading around London. National press coverage has already been confirmed for the day, high publicity is guaranteed for anyone involved.
