ARTE/SFR VIDEO MOBILE AWARD
As part of the ARTE Video Night being broadcast on 24 October 2009 from 11 pm to 3 am (featuring 85 videos from all over the world), SFR and ARTE are launching a new award, the
‘Prix ARTE/SFR Video Mobile’.
TO COMPETE

• Post your videos on line (1 - 3 maximum) from 18 June to 7 September

THEME
‘Who will you be in 20 years ?’
SPECIFICATIONS
The videos must have been made using a mobile phone, be 3 minutes long or less, and have no dialogue (or be subtitled in French). If you wish, you can use a soundtrack.
As soon as it has been received, your video will be visible on the ARTE and SFR websites and on your mobile phone. Web users will be invited to score and comment on the on-line videos (final votes will be cast on 15 September). The videos will also be screened in a continuous loop at the MEP/Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris and in the reception areas at ARTE and SFR.
‘PRIX ARTE/SFR VIDEO MOBILE’ : JURY PRIZE AND WEB USER PRIZE
There will be two juries for the ‘Prix ARTE/SFR Video Mobile’
1) Professional jury
On 10 September 2009, a professional jury will select the Top 30 most interesting videos and choose which one should be awarded the ‘Prix ARTE/SFR du Jury’ (Jury
Prize).
2) Web user jury
Web users will vote for the best three videos, from 15 September to 12 October
inclusive, choosing from the Top 30 selected by the professionals. The three winners will
receive the ‘Prix ARTE/SFR des Internautes’ (Web User Prize).
AWARDS FOR THE TWO PRIZES
• Winners will be announced on 23 October 2009 at the Pompidou Centre at a
special screening of ARTE Video Night for artists, art students and the media.
• Winning videos will be screened and showcased on the ARTE and SFR websites
• Winning videos will be broadcast on the ARTE TV channel
• Jury Prize : the winner will receive a video mobile phone and also a sound
recording pack containing an audio recorder with a memory card (Zoom H4),
a set of Sennheiser hd25 headphones, a microphone boom, an external
microphone, and a microphone wind protection cover.
• Web user Prize : each of the 3 winners will receive a video mobile phone.

By competing for the ‘Prix ARTE/SFR Video Mobile’, you agree that your video can be broadcast free of copyright (picture and sound) ; this grant of copyright is not exclusive: your agreement is valid for the different media mentioned above for a period of one year.
