Book launch and career networking event

Thursday 29th September 2011
City Business Library, London EC2V 7HH
6.30pm – 8.30pm

FREE EVENT FOR ALL JOBSEEKERS!

Did you know...?

• There are currently 2.5 million people unemployed in the UK
• More than one in five of Britain's young people (aged 16 to 24) are jobless
• The number of women out of work is currently at its highest for over two decades
• Approximately 130,000 graduates will enter the already saturated UK job market for the first time this year
• Every job advertised receives an average of 22 applications – 83 for graduate jobs.

The 7 Keys to a Winning CV book launch and career networking event is Mildred Talabi’s answer to the economic crisis and the alarming unemployment rate in the UK.

In addition to benefiting from the CV advice and guidance contained in 7 Keys to a Winning CV, this special event will also give jobseekers special access to professionals in all areas of recruitment including:

• Interview skills and training
• Networking for job success
• Identifying right career choices through coaching
• Assessments and psychometric testing
• Personal styling and dressing for success
• ...and much more!

Speakers on the night will be Mildred Talabi, CV expert and author of ‘7 Keys to a Winning CV’, and Richard Tyrie, founder of Jobsgopublic.com – the UK’s largest recruitment portal for public sector jobs.

Who should attend?

The event is open to all jobseekers particularly students and new graduates, professionals who have recently been made redundant, and women returning to work after a prolonged absence or maternity leave.

We also welcome attendance from recruitment consultants, HR managers and advisors, small business employers, and anyone else involved in the recruitment process.
